ISL 2017: Chennaiyin FC set to embark on Thailand pre-season

Chennaiyin FC are set to leave for Thailand as they prepare for the 2017-18 edition of the Indian Super League (ISL).
The Super Machans are expected to play at least four practice matches in Thailand against some of the top teams. The club would return from their Thailand sojourn on November 2 to conduct their final round of preparations in Chennai.
Chennaiyin have been practicing in Chennai for the last 10 days or so under the watchful eyes of coach John Gregory. The national team players, namely Jeje Lalpekhlua, Anirudh Thapa, Germanpreet Singh and Jerry Lalrinzuala, would join the camp in Thailand following the 2019 Asian Cup qualifier against Macau on October 11th.

They play their first game on November 19, Sunday against FC Goa at the Marina Arena.
