Borussia Dortmund v Tottenham Hotspur: Spurs to take advantage of shaky German defence

Tottenham will look to bounce back from the disappointment of their weekend derby defeat to Arsenal by securing top spot of their Champions League group in Germany.

The north Londoners are the only unbeaten side in Group H and their 3-1 demolition of holders Real Madrid in the previous matchday secured their place in the last 16 of the competition for only the second time since the inception of the tournament.

Mauricio Pochettino's side began the current campaign with a 3-1 win at Wembley against Borussia Dortmund and the Germans have endured a bitterly disappointing campaign ever since that result; another comprehensive 3-1 home defeat by Real Madrid followed by 1-1 draws home and away against Cypriot side APOEL Nicosia has left Peter Bosz's men facing an early elimination from the competition.

Only a win will do for Dortmund as they look to secure at least third place in the group and a passage into the Europa League, and dabblebet offer a home win at 5/4 (2.20). Spurs, meanwhile, are priced at 21/10 (3.10) to secure their fourth win of the competition with the draw priced at 5/2 (3.50). 

Dortmund's recent slump in form has been alarming, especially given their excellent start, with their last Bundesliga win coming back in September; indeed, the side have lost four and drawn one of their last five league games, and their defence has looked particularly vulnerable.

The Germans are yet to keep a clean sheet in the Champions League, conceding eight goals in four matches - as many as APOEL - while Spurs have looked excellent going forward in every game they have played.

The price therefore of 5/4 (2.20) for the visitors to score over 1.5 goals should be of interest, with Dortmund conceding at least two goals in six of their last nine matches in all competitions.

Also worthy of consideration is the price of 15/4 (4.75) for Spurs to win and both teams to score, with Dortmund managing to score in all six of their competitive defeats this season.
