AFC Leopards set to review players' bonuses after a poor show last season

AFC Leopards are set to review the players’ allowances ahead of the new season.

Ingwe, who had set a top two finish in the 2017 KPL season, came seventh and were eliminated from the Caf Confederation Cup, where the club’s NEC had hoped that they will go past the group stages.

.After a poor season that saw the club change three coaches; including Dennis Kitambi, Robert Matano and Rodolfo Zapata, Ingwe management is now thinking of reviewing the players' bonuses.

“The management committee has come up with a new reward scheme for the win bonuses and we shall be proceeding for a retreat with players to discuss the same, players’ welfare among other things,” revealed club official Oscar Igaida.

Meanwhile, Victor Bwibo has been appointed the club’s new CEO. Bwibo is expected to take over from Jacob Abisai whose contract will not be renewed.

"We shall not be renewing the contract of the outgoing CEO Abisai. The management committee picked Victor Bwibo as the incoming CEO."
