AFC Leopards 'satisfied' with a competitive squad after signings

AFC Leopards team manager Gilbert Selebwa is confident the club has now what it takes to compete for trophies.

Ingwe was unceremoniously dumped out of Caf Confederation Cup, and has been inconsistent in the Kenyan Premier League. However, the team is on course to defend the Shield Cup after satisfying results in the previous two rounds against former giants Shabana FC and Rain Forest.

After acquiring the services of Edward Seda, Christopher Oruchum, Asad Musa, Eugene Mukangula, Alex Orotomal among others, Selebwa is optimistic the team will have better outings.

“We have managed to get players who we feel have what it takes to help us move forward. Well, this is a competitive squad, a squad that can challenge anyone.

“The most important thing is to be consistent, that is what can make us win and I believe this team will help us realize the same,” Selebwa told Goal .

Ingwe released Henry Uche, Erick Bekoe, Joseph Kuria, Collins Okoth and Wesley Kemboi with Ezekiel Otwoma and Gabriel Andika joining Western Stima and Kakamega Homeboyz respectively.
