Phil Parkinson's side never really got going at Gaughan Group Stadium on Saturday afternoon as they struggled for possession and chances. The visitors were better in the second half as Jack Marriott, Paul Mullin and Steven Fletcher - whose shot hit the post - went close but it wasn't enough to secure the victory. To make matters worse, Birmingham came from two goals down to beat Peterborough United 3-2 to leapfrog Wrexham into top spot in League One.
