The Gunners stunned everyone by knocking out defending champions Real Madrid earlier this month from the Champions League quarter-final as they beat the Spanish giants 5-1 across two legs. The English side will now face Paris Saint-Germain in the last-four stage, with the first leg scheduled to take place in North London next week.

Ahead of the crucial semi-final first leg, Arsenal were originally scheduled to take on Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday. The game, however, has now been rescheduled to April 23 as the Eagles have reached the semi-final of the FA Cup and will face Aston Villa at Wembley on Saturday. This comes as a huge relief for Mikel Arteta's side, who will now get some extra days to prepare for the PSG clash.

An official statement from Arsenal read: "We were due to face the Eagles at Emirates Stadium on Saturday, April 26, but with the Eagles reaching the FA Cup semi-finals on that same weekend, our league fixture has been brought forward to Wednesday, April 23, with an 8pm kick-off."

Arteta made quite a few changes in the lineup that started in the club's 4-0 win over Ipswich Town last Sunday. Raheem Sterling replaced Bukayo Saka in the attack, while Thomas Partey returned to the lineup.
