The MLS regular season is down to its final two weeks. And while the Eastern Conference's playoff spots are decided, there is still plenty of drama in the Western Conference.
The two play-in spots, currently occupied by FC Dallas and Real Salt Lake, are still not finalized. And the race to lock in the top seed remains tight - with San Diego FC and the Vancouver Whitecaps tied on points at 60, and LAFC sitting four back with two games in hand. Even Minnesota United FC could make things interesting, as they are third on 58 points.
And once again, U.S. men's national team players are very much a part of this crucial stretch. That included Sebastian Berhalter's brace, which kept Vancouver on top in the West, as well as Jack McGlynn's Houston Dynamo being eliminated from playoff contention by Luca de la Torre's San Diego FC.
