Following the footsteps of his idol Jose Mourinho, Amorim checked into the Lowry Hotel after arriving in Manchester from Lisbon in November. However, unlike Mourinho, who spent 895 nights at the famous Manchester hotspot during his stint at Old Trafford, Amorim has checked out after a little over one month, according to the Daily Mail.

The report adds that the Portuguese manager has found a temporary house in southern Manchester and is looking for a permanent house in Hale before he is joined by his wife and two children in 2025. Several United players, including Amorim's compatriot and club captain Bruno Fernandes, reside in Hale.
