Per Sky in Germany, Bayern are in talks with Sane over a new deal and expected the winger to agree to a reduced salary compared to his current deal, with a reduction of around âŹ6 million (ÂŁ5m/$7m). However, he has now changed agents, enlisting the help of Pini Zahavi, and new demands have been made of the Bavarian giants.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Sane is said to have decided that he is not willing to take a salary reduction without a significant signing-on fee, and has been left dissatisfied with the overall package. His contract expires this summer and he is also aware of the fact that team-mates have received major signing-on fees. Sky reports that Alphonso Davies earned around âŹ20m (ÂŁ17m/$23m) as his signing-on fee when he committed his future to the club.

Sane is willing to leave Bayern if he does not receive the salary offer he has demanded. Both Arsenal and Chelsea have been linked with a swoop to sign the star, and he is said to be willing to move back to England, having previously played for Manchester City.
