She was, however, prepared to put herself in the firing line as her United States international beau lined up a lofted chip.

Any drama was avoided as Pulisic calmly floated the ball over Melton, with plenty of clearance achieved through the air. Melton removed her hands from her face and jumped around in delight after avoiding taking a golf ball to the face.
