Ole Gunnar Solskjaer tipped to upset Harry Kane and sign Bayern team-mate on free transfer for Besiktas

Turkish outlet Takvim has now reported that Solskjaer's Besiktas are keen on signing Dier in the summer transfer window after his contract runs out with Bayern, as they look to improve their squad following a disappointing season. Besiktas currently sit fourth in the Super Lig, 20 points off the Champions League spots.

Kane has been enjoying his time at Bayern Munich, and he stands the chance to win his first-ever career trophy. However, the England captain has revealed that he hopes that Dier will stay with the Bavarians past this season. Kane said, "Yes, I would love that [Dier extending his contract]. He did really well when he played. Eric and I get on very well. But we haven't talked about his future. That's a matter between him and the club."

Despite Kane's hopes that Dier extends his contract with Bayern, it is highly unlikely that the defender will stay at the Allianz Arena. However, whether he will move to Besiktas or not remains unknown at the moment.
