THE BIGGER PICTURE
Maresca's side have played a game more than league leaders Liverpool and are just two points behind them on the league table. Amid the club's spectacular run of form, Madueke was asked about the club's chance of winning the league this time, to which the 22-year-old came up with a hilarious response.
WHAT NONI MADUEKE SAID
Speaking to BBC, Madueke said: "I don’t even know what that is. I don't think so. We are just competing with ourselves, trying to improve and be better every day. For that title race talk, what in December? I am not indulging in that. The race hasn't even started. If I had a crystal ball, I'd tell you, but I don't have a crystal ball, so I don't know."
