Manchester United recently released their latest financial statements which revealed how much the operations cost to fire Ten Hag and sign Amorim. As per the report, Ten Hag's departure cost the 20-time top-flight champions £10.4 million ($13.1m), including compensation for other departing staff members like Ruud van Nistelrooy. On the other hand, the Red Devils also had to shell out £11 million ($13.9m) to sign Amorim, including paying the release clause to Sporting, buying out his notice period and bringing his coaching staff to Old Trafford.
