Liverpool ready to go two for two! Reds prepared to break transfer record AGAIN for Newcastle's Alexander Isak after stunning Florian Wirtz capture

The Reds are enjoying a busy summer in the transfer window and have been flexing their financial muscle. Jeremie Frimpong has already arrived from Bayern Leverkusen and will shortly be joined by Florian Wirtz in a club record deal. The Reds may then decide to spend big again as they are ready to make a big-money bid for Isak, according to GIVEMESPORT.

Isak is said to be Liverpool's "dream" target, with Arne Slot's side willing to offer Newcastle £100 million (€116m/$134m) plus add-ons for the Sweden international. Newcastle will be eager to keep hold of Isak, particularly after he scored 27 goals in all competitions for the Magpies last season, and are thought to value their striker at £120m (€140m/$161m).

Isak ended the season on 23 Premier League goals, the most by a Newcastle player since Alan Shearer netted 23 in 2001-02. Only Liverpool's Mohamed Salah scored more in the top flight last season.

Isak will no doubt be banging in the goals again in the Premier League next season, although fans will have to wait and see if he remains in Newcastle or heads to Liverpool to play for the champions.
