    Per The Sun, Bayern are interested in signing Mainoo from United this month. The midfielder's future at Old Trafford is up in the air, as he is hoping to earn a new contract worth £200,000-per-week, a huge upgrade on his current £20,000-per-week deal. Mainoo would represent pure PSR profit for the Red Devils, as he is an academy product, and Chelsea are currently reported to be leading the race.

    Bayern are said to be long-term admirers of Mainoo, who has won 10 England caps and made 53 senior appearances for the club. His contract runs until 2027.
