  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    Just 22 minutes into his cameo off the bench against SV Darmstadt in his second debut for the Bundesliga side, the Manchester United loanee assisted Marco Reus to make it 2-0 to the Black and Yellow. The 23-year-old made a brilliant forward run into the penalty area before sliding the ball across the box to the German midfielder, who slammed it home.

    We will never know what truly happened behind the scenes between Sancho and Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag, but now that the England international has departed the Red Devils, he has a chance to get his career back on track. The 23-year-old's cameo off the bench means he's started with a bang and will hope to continue in a bid to impress before his loan expires at the end of the season.

    WHAT NEXT FOR SANCHO AND DORTMUND

    Sancho will look to get back to full fitness over the next few weeks, but the Black and Yellow return to the pitch next Saturday against bottom side Koln. Then, on January 28, it's a match against VFL Bochum as they look to climb back into the top-four of the Bundesliga.
