Hollywood stars Leighton Meester and Adam Brody attend Angel City FC match against NJ/NY Gotham

Hollywood couple Leighton Meester and Adam Brody were on the sidelines at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles as they watched Angel City FC take on defending NWSL champions NJ/NY Gotham FC.

Known for their roles as Blair Waldorf in "Gossip Girl" and Seth Cohen in "The O.C." respectively, they appeared engaged throughout the match, interacting with nearby fans. The couple married in 2014 and have maintained a relatively low public profile despite their fame.

NJ/NY Gotham FC dominated Angel City FC with a comprehensive 4-0 victory at BMO Stadium. Spanish forward Esther González continued her hot streak with two goals, scoring her second consecutive brace for Gotham.

An own goal from Miyabi Moriya all but sealed the win for the away side before Geyse scored her first goal for Gotham in the 85th minute to confirm the win.

The 4-0 loss dropped Angel City FC down the NWSL table to fifth place with eight points after five league games played and they sit seven points behind league leaders KC Current (15) who are unbeaten.

The Los Angeles side go on the road to face second place Orlando Pride on April 25 next and then visit Washington Spirit for another away game on May 2.
