Galatasaray submit €3m bid for Man City goalkeeper Ederson after Premier League giants are linked with Barcelona's Marc-Andre ter Stegen

Ederson’s time at City may be nearing its conclusion as Pep Guardiola begins reshaping his squad ahead of the upcoming campaign. Saudi Arabian sides Al-Nassr and Al-Ittihad have also shown strong interest in signing Ederson and are expected to remain in contention. Both clubs are reportedly prepared to offer lucrative packages to tempt the Brazilian to the Middle East. Nevertheless, Galatasaray's edge lies in Ederson’s enthusiasm for their sporting project and potential Champions League involvement, which may weigh heavily in his decision-making process.

City have already begun planning for life beyond Ederson. Barcelona’s Marc-Andre ter Stegen is one of several goalkeepers being monitored, but a potential surgery could see him continue in Spain. Moreover, Porto’s Diogo Costa and Paris Saint-Germain’s Gianluigi Donnarumma have also been linked as potential successors.

Ederson’s potential departure marks the end of an era at the Etihad.
