    According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United legend Ferdinand was forced to leave the live Champions League match coverage on Tuesday evening due to illness. TNT Sports did not explain the reasons behind Ferdinand's shock exit during the 1-1 draw at the Parc des Princes, other than a short statement from presenter Laura Woods, who claimed it was due to "unforeseen circumstances" at the time.

    The former England international is now set to return to his punditry duties for Manchester United's clash against Galatasaray on Wednesday evening, after returning to his hotel to rest.

    The report goes on to state that Ferdinand is feeling better following his early exit in Paris, with the former United defender set to jet into Istanbul to provide analysis on the must-win clash for Erik ten Hag's men.

    As previously mentioned, Ferdinand is currently flying into Istanbul to provide analysis for United's crucial Champions League clash against Galatasaray.
