    Martinez was seen crying as he left the pitch on a stretcher in the second half of United's 2-0 loss to Crystal Palace last weekend. After conducting tests, the defender has been diagnosed with an anterior cruciate ligament tear, according to TyCSports, and will now go under the knife. The injury is likely to keep the Argentine out of action for at least eight months.
