    THE BIGGER PICTURE

The Lionesses skipper, Bright, has been carrying a knee injury for a long time and could have missed the Women's World Cup earlier this year due to the knock. She missed the team's last three matches against Liverpool, Paris FC and Leicester City and was also withdrawn from the England squad for their last two Nations League matches against Netherlands and Scotland.

Hayes' side are the only team in the WSL this season who have remained unbeaten and are three points clear at the top of the table. They are set to lock horns against title challengers Arsenal on Sunday.
