Grammy-winning music producer Metro Boomin makes surprise appearance at Atlanta United's game against New England Revolution

Metro Boomin, the acclaimed music producer known for his work with top hip-hop artists, was in attendance at Mercedes-Benz Stadium over the weekend for Atlanta United's match against the New England Revolution.

The producer's presence was captured in match photos, showing him enjoying the game from the stands. The game ended in a 1-0 loss for the home side, with Carles Gil scoring the only goal from the penalty spot.

Metro Boomin, aka Leland Tyler Wayne, is a Grammy-nominated music producer who started his career at 13 and gained recognition through social media platforms. His breakthrough came in 2013 with Future collaborations like "Karate Chop."

Metro has produced chart-topping hits such as "Jumpman" and "Bad and Boujee," and released successful solo albums including "Not All Heroes Wear Capes" and "Heroes & Villains." He's won multiple BET Hip Hop Awards for Producer of the Year and received an ASCAP Songwriter of the Year Award.

Following their 1-0 loss to New England Revolution, Atlanta United fell to 11th on the Eastern Conference table. They go on the road to face Philadelphia Union on April 19 and following that face Orlando City away from home on April 26.
