Alisha Lehmann copying Cristiano Ronaldo? Juventus and Switzerland star revealed to have similar pre-match habit as Al-Nassr hero

Football fans are familiar with the sight of Ronaldo standing on tiptoes while posing for a team photograph before kick-off. This is a pre-game routine that the Portugal icon has been following for several years now. Recently, Switzerland and Juventus women's star Lehmann was spotted emulating Ronaldo as she too stood on her tiptoes before an international match.

It was the Switzerland women's national team who spotted similarities between Lehmann and the Al-Nassr as they posted a split image of the two players on Instagram, with the caption: "Great minds think alike".

Lehmann did not feature in Switzerland's final game of 2024 as they went down 1-0 against England in an international friendly last week. Manchester United midfielder Grace Clinton was on target as the Lionesses clinched a narrow win.

The 25-year-old was included in Juventus' matchday squad for Thursday's Women's Champions League clash against Bayern Munich, however, she failed to make it to the starting lineup.
