Chris Wondolowski has been added to the U.S. national team for upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Honduras and Panama, U.S. Soccer announced Monday.
The San Jose Earthquakes striker brings the U.S. roster to 26 players, with no players withdrawing.
Wondolowski won't have to travel for Friday's match against Honduras at Avaya Stadium, the Earthquakes' home venue. He joins Clint Dempsey, Jozy Altidore and Jordan Morris as forwards on the U.S. squad, which also will travel to face Panama on March 28.
He joins David Bingham, Matt Besler, Graham Zusi and Sacha Kljestan as additions to the U.S. roster since it was initially revealed Wednesday.
