The sensational summer of women's international sport continues. The Women's Rugby World Cup has been underway since August 22, and we're slowly ebbing towards the Rugby Women's World Cup Final this weekend on September 27.

This year's edition, the 10th in total, is set to be the biggest and the best, with the competition expanded to 16 sides for the first time since 2002. Fans from all four corners of the globe are expected to descend on English soil for the rugby festivities.

It’s 34 years since the first ball was kicked in earnest at a Women’s World Cup, with Wales playing host to 11 other international sides. The United States would be crowned the shock inaugural winners - they knocked out New Zealand in the semis before outgunning England in the Cardiff Final.

This year, England is hosting the Women’s Rugby World Cup for a second time this summer, and they’ll be hopeful of another bold showing. Having been crowned champions for a second time in 2014, it was a welcome change for the Red Roses, who have been the bridesmaids rather than the bride countless times over the years. In fact, of the nine World Cup editions to date, they have been the runners-up on six occasions, with five of those Final losses coming against New Zealand.

Now, we see England face off against Canada for the final of the Women's Rugby World Cup - and GOAL has the way to secure tickets.
