This season, Claudio Ranieri's men have been less splendid and exciting as they sit 15th in the table after 14 games.

But, while the senior side continued to underwhelm over the weekend, losing 2-1 to Sunderland on Saturday, their Under 23 side are showing they have the ability to thrill spectators.

Taking on their Liverpool counterparts at the weekend, spectators witnessed an incredible moment as Foxes player Layton Ndukwu scored from inside his own half.

The 18-year-old won the ball from a Liverpool player and charged forward. Still far behind the halfway line, the England Under 17 international unleashed a shot that flew over the goalkeeper and bounced in.

Even Charlie Adam must have been impressed with that!
