Kenyan International, Victor Wanyama is inching closer to return to action with English Premier League side, Tottenham Hotspurs.
The Kenyan captain is stepping up his rehabilitation from a knee injury that has restricted him to only two league matches this campaign.
He remained and remains sidelined for Spur league match against Bournemouth on Saturday at Wembley Stadium this weekend.
Spurs will also be without midfielder, Mousa Dembele (ankle), Erik Lamela (hips) and Danny Rose (knee).
The trio have started reintegrating into first-team training sessions as they continue their recoveries though Wanyama is expected back mid this October.
Tottenham are currently third on the table, five points behind joint top leaders, Machester City and Manchester United both on 19 points.
Champions Chelsea are a point behind Spurs on fourth, same as Arsenal.
