The 'Quakes celebrated their first goal of the 2017 season in a rather unique fashion Saturday night.

If the San Jose Earthquakes were waiting to show off a new unique goal celebration, they didn’t have to wait long.

Seventeen minutes into their 2017 campaign, the Earthquakes got on the scoreboard courtesy of Anibal Godoy finish to give San Jose an early lead on the visiting Montreal Impact.

After the goal the Earthquakes made sure to celebrate as a team, going over to the byline and, well, see for yourself:

While the goal celebration was rather unique, it was befitting of the goal itself, as Godoy’s chipped finish was excellent.
