Football Kenya Federation says that they don’t get enough funding from the national government.

According to FKF President Nick Mwendwa, the federation tabled close to a billion budget to the Sports Ministry at the beginning of the year, but they have only received a paltry Sh68 million.

“We submitted a Sh889 million budget to the government, but we have only received not more than Sh100 million.

"Actually, we have only received Sh68 million in the last three months,” Mwendwa told Goal.

The government also slapped FKF with an egg on the face when the ministry was awarded only seven million of the Sh24 million asked for the two games against Ethiopia.
