Mexico meet Costa Rica in the quarter-finals of the Gold Cup on Saturday evening.
El Tri topped Group A, winning all three of their games, but Los Ticos were forced to settle for second in Group B. Gustavo Matosas' men suffered a bitterly disappointing 2-1 loss against Haiti on Monday night that ended their 100 per cent record in this summer's competition.
Latest odds
Mexico are 11/10 (2.10) favourites to lift the Gold Cup this summer. As such, El Tri are chalked up as SportPesa's 10/27 (1.37) favourites to secure a semi-final spot inside 90 minutes.
Costa Rica can be backed at 15/2 (8.50) with SportPesa to put that defeat at the hands of Haiti behind them with victory here. The odds compilers offer 16/5 (4.20) that Saturday's showdown remains level at the end of 90 minutes.

Team news
Mexico were deprived of the services of a number of star performers before a ball was kicked, with Javier Hernandez, Hector Herrera and Carlos Vela all omitted from the squad at their own behest. Hirving Lozano is injured but Raul Jimenez has scored three goals in as many games and should lead the line here.
Joel Campbell will likely spearhead Los Ticos' attack, having started all three group games. Captain Bryan Ruiz and veteran striker Alvaro Saborio are both seeking a starting spot.
Preview
Scoring goals has not been a problem for El Tri during this Gold Cup campaign. Indeed, Gerardo Martino's men have scored 13 goals in their opening three games of the competition.

Mexico will fancy their chances of maintaining their scoring streak and SportPesa offer 2/1 (3.0) that they score more than twice. The same firm go 6/4 (2.50) that the favourites find the net in both halves.
Prediction
Mexico have won their last seven matches, scoring at least three goals in each of those games. However, Martino's side have managed just one clean sheet - against Cuba - during that run of results.
Costa Rica have scored in four of their last five outings and will feel that they will have chances here. There is, then, plenty of potential for goals - at both ends - when these teams meet.
El Tri are in fine form and should have enough to advance to the final four so backing Mexico to win and both teams to score could see punters profit this weekend. The selection is available at 12/5 (3.40) with SportPesa ahead of Saturday's showdown in Texas.
