Following their 3-1 defeat against Simba on Thursday, Mbeya City goalkeeper Owen Chaima has claimed that they will fight until the end of the season in order to avoid the drop.
The defeat leaves the Mbeya based side in eighth place, six points above the danger zone.
Speaking after the match, Chaima said that they committed mistakes in the first half that’s why Simba punished them by scoring three goals before the break.

“We were not at our best during the first 45 minutes that’s why we conceded three goals, however we returned in the second half fully determined but it was too late,” said Chaima.
Simba’s Okwi scored the opener and his 18th goal of the season in the match. Other goals were scored by Asante Kwasi and John Bocco.
