Selangor head coach Maniam Pachaiappan has decided to re-register Andik Vermansyah in his squad for the remainder of the season, according to Stadium Astro.

The Indonesia winger had been deregistered from the Red Giants' squad for the first half of the season due to a lengthy injury picked up while competing in the 2016 AFF Cup.

Maniam told Stadium Astro that Andik may even be fit enough to be fielded in Selangor's next match, their Super League game against Pahang next Wednesday.

However the 33-time Malaysia Cup champions have yet to decide which foreign players they will drop in the recently-opened mid-season transfer window, to make space for Andik in their foreign player quota.

"Andik's contract is set to run until the end of this year, he has joined training and may be fielded in the match against Pahang.

"In the meantime, the Selangor FA is in discussions with (Francis) Forkey Doe, (Victor) Astafei and (Juliano) Mineiro, and by this week we will decide who will be dropped," explained Maniam.
