Malaysia drop one spot in latest FIFA ranking

Malaysia have dropped one place in the latest FIFA ranking that was upated on Thursday, from 157th to 158th.

The update means that the Harimau Malaya are now ranked below Tahiti (153), Afghanistan (154), Sudan (155), Papua New Guinea (156) and Mauritius (157).

In comparison to the other Asian sides, Malaysia are currently 29th.

They are the fourth highest side out of the 11 Asean Football Federation (AFF) sides, behind Philippines (127), Thailand (129) and Vietnam (136), and ahead of Singapore (160) and Indonesia (177).

Interestingly, no AFF sides moved up the ranking according to the update.
