Luis Enrique yet to decide Barcelona future

Barcelona coach Luis Enrique insists that he has not made any decision regarding his future at Camp Nou, after one of the most difficult weeks of his two and a half year tenure.

A crushing 4-0 Champions League defeat away to Paris Saint-Germain all but ended Barca's hopes of regaining the title last won in 2014-15, while Real Madrid lie two points clear in La Liga with two games in hand.

The Copa del Rey stands out as the Catalans' best chance of winning silverware in the current campaign, with a final date against Alaves approaching.

But despite coming under pressure for his team's performance in the French capital, Luis Enrique has refused to give a clear answer on what lies ahead.

"Whatever happens in the coming months will have nothing to do with my decision," he explained to reporters in Saturday's press conference.

"Not one game, nor two nor all 38 Liga matches. I haven't made my decision."

Madrid play first at the weekend with a home meeting against Espanyol; and the Barca coach is hoping the club's city rivals can do them a favour by taking a positive result.

"I am hoping the leaders lose points, I don't care against which opponent," he fired, before turning attention on Barca's clash.

"Against Leganes it will be the moment to see how we respond to what happened on Tuesday in Paris.

"There is still a month to go until the Champions League game. It is marked out as a big game and it is in my head ever since the night of the game, but it would be naive to only think about that game.

"We have four games beforehand that we have to play and it makes sense to think about tomorrow's game. There will be plenty of time to talk about PSG."
