Still a long way to go in this match with 30 minutes left. Bayern Munich are dominating the match, but Rosengard have gotten their rare chance as well to get a big goal against the Germans.

Lyon gets the win in Paris through a Wendie Renard penalty. The handball call was questionable from the referee and it seemed like Formiga was outside the box, but of course without VAR the call stands.&nbsp; PSG travel to Lyon next week with a lot to make up for.&nbsp;

The Swedes are holding their own against the in-form Germans. Linda Dallmann and&nbsp;Klara Bühl are both on the scoresheet so far, it looks like the scoreline won't stay like that for the second half.&nbsp;

The UWCL Champions start this second half strong. Within the opening three minutes find themselves with a clear opportunity to take the lead, but it was an easy save for the Chilean keeper, Christiane Endler.

Bayern Munich take on Rosengard for the last quarter-final of the day. The German side are 16 for 16 wins in the Frauen Bundesliga at the moment, including a convincing 4-1 win over Wolfsburg earlier in the season.&nbsp; Rosengard on the other hand haven't had regular playing time in a league setting since October, but have managed a spot in the quarter-finals.&nbsp; Can the Swedish cause an upset?

They hit the woodwork twice, through Alexandra Popp and Ewa Pajor. Three spectacular saves from Ann-Katrin Berger denied Fridolina Rolfo. Pajor had an overhead kick cleared off the line. But Chelsea broke the deadlock in the second half when Sam Kerr finished brilliantly from a tight angle. &nbsp; Pernille Harder, who left Wolfsburg for Chelsea in the summer, made it 2-0, but the German champions scored a crucial away goal from the penalty spot through Dominique Janssen and nearly pulled level when Rebecka Blomqvist had a late chance. This game was wide open, and this tie is wide ope &nbsp;

Chelsea's starting XI 🔵

One of the biggest women's football rivalries is coming to the UWCL quarter-finals.&nbsp; PSG has been the only team who has beat Lyon in over two years in the league. Lyon have no lost in the UWCL for five consecutive years and the Parisians are favourites to cause an upset. These two sides were meant to meet last weekend in the league, but due to covid-19 cases in the PSG side the match was postponed. Lyon aren't happy about the postponement and PSG are as motivated as ever to get the better of the French giants. The stage is set at Parc de Princes.

We held up well when we were suffering and we capitalised when we need to so we're very happy." Barcelona have a comfortable three goal cushion heading into the second leg, but the job isn't done yet.&nbsp; “Manchester City is second in the best league in the world and they are a huge club with three world champions and many internationals. They are a very difficult team to beat. When we put the pieces together, we can beat any team in Europe. "Nothing has been done, we have to celebrate this victory and continue: first, prepare for the game against Sevilla and then for the Manchester game."

Cortes knows what City are capable of in the second leg

"It has been one of the best games we have played. We were&nbsp;faithful to our style, managing the moments in which we&nbsp;suffered. But we knew how to&nbsp;keep the ball where we were interested in playing. We are very happy with the result and also with the sensation of it. “The penalty saved by Sandra Paños was decisive and the whole team on a defensive level. We have one of the best goalkeepers in the world on the team. In La Liga it doesn't show much, but today it was&nbsp;there and we&nbsp;had it when we needed it. "A lot of the time we only talk about who scores or who assists and we forget about Sandra Panos and the defensive part of a match. Today we have to applaud her and we have to recognise that we have one of the best keeprs in the world."

Lluis Cortes has nothing but praise for his side today 

Barcelona's biggest threats were from the wings where you have players like Mariona and Caroline Graham Hansen who are capable of taking on defenders and sending decisive balls in to the box.&nbsp; Manchester City struggled to contain Barcelona's attack, but Taylor's side exploited Barca's backline as well. "They overloaded the midfield, wide players coming inside, some players peering in from the backline into the middle, from the frontline into the middle as well, but it was not so much to focus on them - I think it’s about where we could have been better, in our pressing. I thought we got to grips with it, midway through the first half, and then I found that they were quite open when we won the ball back, and we found that we had real good opportunities. "We always knew that would be their kind of style, to overload certain areas, but then we knew they’d also leave themselves a bit open at the back, which I think happened, and that’s where we got our few chances from."

Barcelona are good, but not invincible according to Gareth Taylor

Barcelona travel to Manchester next week for the second leg of this quarter-final tie and Gareth Taylor is betting on a City comeback from three goals down. “I don’t think it’s a tough task. I think we can turn it around. It’s within our capabilities. The way this team has performed this season and the goals we have scored, I think we can do it, no problem at all.”

City boss confident on a comeback

"Disappointing. The goals in the second half were disappointing as well, I think especially the opening six, seven minutes of the second half, especially when we've just spoken about, hanging on in there. Make sure that we're resolute, make sure we close the spaces and we'll get opportunities and that happened. "It's just that we gave them one beforehand and it going 2-0 was difficult. We have the penalty, we had other chances. It's one to look at for next week. But, I feel confident that we are able to do this. We knew it was going to be tough, and we made it tough for ourselves. There's no doubt about that."

A recap by our women's football coresspondent <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/correspondents/ame%C3%A9-ruszkai/4887" target="_blank">Ameé Ruszkai.</a> A dominant first half display from Barcelona, who lead at the break through Asisat Oshoala's cracking strike from the edge of the box. They'll be disappointed their lead is not greater, however. Caroline Graham Hansen has been terrific, creating plenty of chances, but the Spaniards have been frustrated by some wonderful goalkeeping from Ellie Roebuck. City had a couple of decent opportunities - Ellen White fired over after a good run from Lauren Hemp, and later Hemp's cross was headed over by Chloe Kelly. But the away side have spent most of the game so far on the back foot.

Oshoala's goal goes down in history 💯

A gripping first half in Italy for the first fixture of the match! Barcelona have managed 12 attempts on goal so far with 5 on target, where City have only had 3 attempts and just a lone shot on target. Though the Spanish are dominating, City have showed that they just need the rare chance to get on goal.&nbsp;

Good free-kick delivery from City on the left side of the pitch into the box and Sam Mewis manages to bury the ball into the back of the net, but is well offside. Barcelona 1-0 Man City Minutes to go in this first half.

The first long goal kick of the match for City and it ends up with a chance on goal. Lauren Hemp drives through the centre of the pitch and finds White in space down the right, but the England striker fires well wide of the goal.

Ellen White gets a chance!

Barcelona finally break through and Asisat Oshoala's makes no mistake this time around! A lose ball in the box from a Barcelona free-kick, Oshoala gets set up perfectly at the top of the box and slots home smoothly in the bottom corner. Barcelona 1-0 Man City&nbsp; Just under 10 minutes left in this first-half

Alexia Putellas' brilliant diving header is denied by Roebuck from a brilliant floating cross from Mariona from the left.&nbsp; Barcelona keep&nbsp;knocking on City's door.

ROEBUCK AGAIN 

Manchester City get control of the ball now and start to formulate their attack through Chloe Kelly and Sam Mewis.&nbsp; A few good crosses into the box by City, but Chloe Kelly and Caroline Weir were unable to bury their chances.

City come close!

Another HUGE save from Ellie Roebuck to block Aitana Bonmati's low shot into the corner. Alexia Putellas found herself on the touchline, cut back the ball to the penalty spot for Bonmati to have a clear shot on target.&nbsp; Barcelona have had clear chances, exploting City's poor clearances from the back, but Barcelona's efforts haven't found the back of the net.&nbsp;

Somehow it's still goalless in Italy 

A bad pass from Lucy Bronze lands in the path of Oshoala but Ellie Roebuck comes up with a big save to deny Barcelona an opener. City were unable to deal with the rebound from the save and Graham Hansen gets a curling effort from close range, but it's just wide of the post.

HUGE SAVE BY ROEBUCK

Graham Hansen gets a shot blocked! The Norwegian wingers dribbles effortlessly into the box and gets a shot on target, but is blocked by Abby Dahlkemper. Barcelona are dominating the tempo of the match so far and City's only attack was called offside.

First chance!

Just 10 minutes into the match and we've seen Caroline Graham Hansen's pace causing problems&nbsp;for the&nbsp;City defenders. Barcelona so have the ball more, but City are capable of scoring with just one attempt on goal.&nbsp; The match isn't disappointing so far.
