A number of clubs have enquired over a temporary deal for the 28-year-old, but the Blancos would rather sell him outright. James has been restricted to just seven La Liga appearances in total this season.

Inter attacker Valentino Lazaro is close to joining Newcastle United on loan, reports <a href="https://m.fcinternews.it/copertina/fcin-lazaro-la-proposta-del-newcastle-e-la-migliore-prestito-oneroso-e-diritto-di-riscatto-328396" target="_blank">FC Inter News</a>.&nbsp; A loan deal worth €2 million has been proposed with the option to buy Lazaro for €18-20m&nbsp;included.&nbsp; Werder Bremen and West Ham were also interested in a deal for the 23-year-old but the Magpies' offer is by far the best offered.&nbsp; Lazaro has made just six Serie A appearances for Inter this season having joined the club in July.&nbsp;
