OFFICIAL: Barcelona announce Vitor Roque's signing

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona have won the race to sign Brazilian gem Vitor Roque, who is set to sign for Blaugrana after the Catalans reached an agreement and finalised all details and paperwork with Athletico Paranaense.

An agreement in principle for the Brazilian was struck last month, with Barca agreeing to pay €35m plus another €10m in add-ons, bringing the total cost of the operationg to €45m.

According to multiple reports, Barcelona are targeting two different midfielders if they fail to get their hands on the duo of Ilkay Gundogan and Bernardo Silva. The Manchester City treble winners are yet to decide on their future and the delay could see Barca switch their attention to different players. The first name on the list is Giovanni Lo Celso. The Argentine midfielder's stocks have skyrocketed after some exceptional performances for Villareal and La Albiceleste.
