Haron Shakava: Gor Mahia finding it difficult with congested fixtures

Gor Mahia has been playing up to three matches in a week, starting from league to Caf Confederation Cup matches.

K'Ogalo has toiled to give the perfect results but fatigue is evident. Team captain Haron Shakava has admitted it is hard to balance the match day squad and get positive result day in day out.

"At times we have to admit some things, yes we have been strained to a point that every player has to be involved. Playing three competitive matches week in week out is not easy, and that is where you realize every player is important.

"I try to talk to each and every member of our team to give his best in training because only through that you can be involved.

"The many matches have affected us, even the rate at which we are conceding goals is very worrying, but we will fight to the end," Shakava told Goal.

Gor Mahia will play Hull City this Sunday in a promotional match at Kasarani Stadium.
