Gor Mahia coach Dylan Kerr in hot soup as FKF demands for answers

Gor Mahia coach Dylan Kerr could face the wrath of Football Kenya Federation following his recent remarks after losing in the FKF Shield Cup.

The federation is now demanding for answers from the club over the coach’s remarks that alluded the FKF President Nick Mwendwa was involved in the outcome of match against Kariobangi Sharks that K’Ogalo lost on penalties.

In a letter obtained by Goal, signed by FKF CEO Robert Muthomi and copied to Gor Mahia secretary general, the federation has promised to take disciplinary action against the coach if the club fails to respond to the same.

“Following the Shield Cup match played on Sunday, September 2, 2018, pitting Gor Mahia against Kariobangi Sharks, Football Kenya Federation notes that the Gor Mahia FC coach Dylan Kerr made disparaging remarks on social media against FKF President regarding the same.

“We therefore, request your office to write back to us and explain what the coach meant by his remarks which alluded that the FKF President was involved in the result of the match.

“We look forward to your response, failure to which FKF will institute disciplinary measures against him.”

Efforts to reach out to Gor Mahia officials for a comment proved futile.
