Confirmed Line-Ups: Manchester United - Chelsea

Manchester United have started with their usual back four and Owen Hargreaves, Michael Carrick and Paul Scholes line up in midfield, with Anderson resigned to a place on the bench. Cristiano Ronaldo, Carlos Tevez and Wayne Rooney are up front in what should be an incredibly free-flowing and dynamic formation. There is a possibility this line-up could field itself as a 4-4-2, with Hargreaves in right wing and Ronaldo on the left.

Park Ji-Sung has not made the squad and neither has Louis Saha. The latter has of course had persistent injury problems, while Park's absence comes as something of a surprise, he has most likely picked up a knock. There is no forward on the bench for the Red Devils, though Ryan Giggs is certain to come on at some point, breaking Sir Bobby Charlton's all-time appearance record in the process.

Chelsea have lined up with their usual best eleven in recent games. Essien is at right-back, with Makelele guarding the back four and the Lampard-Ballack double-act ahead of him. The front three sees an out-of-sorts Joe Cole retain his place along with Florent Malouda - ahead of Salomon Kalou - either side of Didier Drogba.

Nicolas Anelka is on the bench, as is Andriy Shevchenko, as well as Champions League winner Juliano Belletti, who scored in the final for Barcelona two years ago.
