The YoungAfricans star striker, Amissi Tambwe has been ruled out fof the CAF Champions league preliminary stage matches despite the recovery of his injury.
The club does not want to rush the Burundian and has been added one week to make sure he attains full strength before getting back to the field and will watch from stands the game against St Louis' Seychelles at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
Yanga doctor, Edward Bavu said Tambwe has been added those days after complaining of pain while performing vigorous exercise on Thursday.
Bavu said after performing the tests and appearing to be unfit for the match, he added him a recovery time and the player will train alone.
"We want Tambwe in the pitch with a great percentage of fitness and we decided not to rush him after he complained of mild pain while training with his team mates.
"I believe after a week he will get back to the pitch because he is currently getting treatment while he continues with exercises for quick healing," said Bavu.
At the same time, Bavu said the central defender, Andrew Vincent 'Dante', has began to get relief and has started training after his hamstring problem.
