Women's FA Cup fifth round draw: Arsenal host Man City, holders Chelsea take on Palace and Man Utd head to Southampton

Arsenal will play a home tie against Manchester City while reigning champions Chelsea will meet Crystal Palace in the Women's FA Cup fifth round.

  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    The draw for the next round of the tournament was made on Monday, seeing Manchester United pay a visit to Southampton, Tottenham come up against Charlton and Liverpool away to London City Lionesses.

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

    Arsenal are the most successful team in the competition's history, having won it 14 times. They crashed out at the fifth round last season when they were beaten 2-0 by eventual champions Chelsea, who won it for the third time in a row.

    Arsenal and City last went head-to-head in November last year, with the Gunners running out 2-1 winners. The two teams are level on points in the Women's Super League, however, with Chelsea sitting three points clear at the top of the table.
