With his contract at Die Werkself running until 2027, the Reds wanted to get the deal done early and have moved quickly to bring the 22-year-old in before the start of pre-season.

As per The Athletic, the 22-year-old is due to arrive in the United Kingdom later this week and will undergo his Liverpool medical on Friday, and once completed, the official announcement from the Merseyside club could come shortly after.
