Dominik Szoboszlai scored a late winner for Liverpool against Arsenal in the Anfield showdown with a thunderous strike from a 25-yard free-kick as the Reds secured crucial three points against the Gunners in the Premier League on Sunday. Arne Slot's side climbed to the top of the table after registering their third consecutive league win of the new season.

WHAT HAPPENED?
Curtis Jones was brought down by Martin Zubimendi with a poor challenge near the penalty box as he tried to approach the goal. Zubimendi was cautioned with a yellow card, while the hosts were awarded a free-kick. Nearly 25 yards from goal, Szoboszlai unleashed a thunderous shot which entered the goal through the right top corner.

Despite suffering an early setback that saw star defender William Saliba leave the pitch in the fourth minute of the match with an injury, the Gunners did well defensively and kept the high-flying Liverpool attack silent for the majority of the game.
