Seconds after Lucas Bergvall's 86th-minute goal at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday, substitute Alexander-Arnold was involved in a fleeting spat with a Spurs ball boy. The England international attempted to restart play by getting a ball placed on a cone just off the pitch - but the ball boy removed it. The 26-year-old then kicked the cone away, exchanged words with the youngster, and held up six fingers in an apparent reference to Liverpool's 6-3 Premier League win at Tottenham last month.

Liverpool may still be favourites to progress to the final, given they are flying high in all competitions this season, but Ange Postecoglou's team hold a slender advantage ahead of next month's trip to Anfield.
