When the 36-year-old was driving along with wife Antonela Roccuzzo, a small group of Argentina supporters excitedly flagged down the Argentine World Cup winner by the side of the road. The exhilarated fans then got the chance to take photos with the former Barcelona ace, much to their delight and amazement.

Messi is currently focusing on getting back fit after suffering a hamstring injury during his side's win over Nashville in the CONCACAF Champions Cup on March 14. The veteran has missed all of Miami's matches since then but will hope to return to action on Saturday at home to Colorado in the MLS.

If Messi, who has played just five times this season in all competitions due to injury, is not fit for the Colorado Rapids game, manager Tata Martino will hope he can feature in their Champions Cup quarter-final second leg away to Monterrey on April 10.
