VIDEO: Alisha Lehmann all smiles as Aston Villa star arrives at Juventus to complete transfer and link up with boyfriend Douglas Luiz

The 25-year-old travelled to Turin on Friday morning as she looks to finalise a transfer from Aston Villa. The Switzerland midfielder waved to the supporters as she was ushered into the club's headquarters to go through the formalities before the summer switch can be announced.

Lehmann will reunite with her boyfriend Douglas Luiz at the Turin side, having seen the Brazil international complete a move to Juve already. Lehmann had been in the United States to watch Luiz and Brazil compete at the Copa America, but has returned to Europe to get her transfer over the line.

Juve will soon announce the summer signing of Lehmann, who spent three years with Women's Super League side Aston Villa. Lehmann started 10 of her 15 WSL appearances last season and scored two goals for the club.
