Vardy vs Rooney! Jamie & Rebekah rival Wayne & Coleen in documentary stakes due to ‘huge interest’ in WAG lifestyle of Leicester legend & his wife in Italy

According to The Sun, Jamie and Rebekah struck a stunning deal with ITV for a fly-on-the-wall TV series. The series, named 'The Vardys', will see Rebekah and her family starting a new life in Italy, where Leicester icon Jamie signed for US Cremonese.  

On the new ITV series, a source told The Sun: "There is huge interest in Becky and her life as a Wag, a mother and a TV personality, not to mention the relationship between her and Jamie. She’ll be seen opening up her home and heart as she provides unprecedented access at a crucial point in their history. It’s a real coup for her to have this with a channel as huge as ITV."  

The ITV deal is also a huge win for Rebekah Vardy in her rivalry with Wayne Rooney's wife, Coleen, which started in 2022. The two WAGs collided in a social media storm, which ultimately resulted in a very public court battle. A documentary series was also released last year detailing the incident.    

Vardy, 38, parted ways with Leicester City after more than a decade this summer following the expiry of his contract. Last month, he joined Serie A new-boys Cremonese on a free transfer and has made two appearances for the club thus far.
