Gisele Thompson has departed the U.S. women's national team camp with a minor hip injury, with U.S. Soccer saying that no replacement will be called in ahead of upcoming international friendlies against China and Jamaica.
The 19-year-old Angel City FC defender has three caps for the national team.

The 19-year-old received her first national team call-up in the 2025 SheBelieves Cup, where she and her older sister Alyssa - who also plays for Angel City - became the second pair of sisters to start a USWNT game together.
She was then called into the April training camp following an injury to defender Tierna Davidson.
The Thompsons recently became the first pair of sisters to combine for an NWSL goal, as Alyssa assisted Gisele's first NWSL goal in a match against the Washington Spirit in early May.

The USWNT takes on China on May 31 and then returns to the pitch on Tuesday, June 3 against Jamaica.
