USWNT star Catarina Macario reflects on 'great' Chelsea training camp in Morocco as attacker edges closer to being 'back on the pitch' following grueling ACL recovery

Posting on social media platform Instagram, the USWNT star showcased different images of her in training with the Blues. It's the first time she's taken to the grass since her summer move to the Blues from Lyon, due to an 18-month layoff as a result of an ACL tear.

With news of star striker Sam Kerr suffering an ACL injury of her own at the weekend, Macario has been tipped for a big role going forward under boss Emma Hayes. However, the big news for her country is that with her back in training, there's a good chance she will be available for selection come this summer's Paris Olympic games.

The Blues return to action on Sunday in a FA Cup contest against West Ham United, before facing Manchester United in the WSL the following weekend. Macario's exact timetable is still up in the air, but it's a brilliant sign to see her about and healthy in training.
